* Staff Operations Engineer
You will work alongside other best-in-class Engineers to ensure maximum observability, automation, performance and uptime. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with a multicultural team from a wide variety of professional backgrounds.
Lab6ix promotes a high velocity start-up environment with a lack of red tape. You'll need to be able to thrive autonomously, but also share ideas with colleagues in different remits and levels of seniority.
Lab6ix advocates an 'ego-free' working environment, and cultural fit is just as important as technical acumen.
Although the title is DevOps, strong SRE, Infra, Cloud or Platform Engineers with relevant domain experience will also be considered. Lab6ix is looking for a high level of experience with cloud (ideally Azure, GCP, and AWS), monitoring & alerting tools, and you'll need to be a strong in K8's & containerization. We believe in using the right tool for the job, as such we use multiple languages and technologies in our stack.
Seeking:
Our architecture is on bare metal. You should be familiar with working in a data-center.
Working knowledge of architecture & best practices to drive performance and reliability.
Working knowledge of xcp-ng and virtualization.
Deep knowledge of K8's, containerization, and orchestration.
A team player who is keen to learn, but also comfortable sharing ideas & opinions.
Bonus points for:
Experience in logging, monitoring, and automated resolutions.
Any contribution or involvement with personal/open-source projects.
Golang development experience.
